Meal kit instructions

 

Frozen Dumpling Cooking Instructions

Steamed

Bring water to a rolling boil. line steamer with parchment paper or oil. Place dumplings on steamer and steam for 12 mins (9 mins for soup dumplings).

Boiled

Bring water to a rolling boil. Add dumplings to water and boil for 12 mins, or till dumplings bob to top. (Not recommended for soup dumplings).

Pan-Fried

1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan over medium-high heat. place dumplings in pan and sear for 1 min.

2. Turn heat down to medium-low, add 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook for 10 mins (7 mins for soup dumplings)

3. Remove cover & let bottoms crisp for another 1-2 min.

 

 

Fermented Black Bean and Shiitake Mapo Tofu

1. Rinse rice in water, add to pot and cover with water by 1 inch and bring to boil. once boiling turn heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 mins.

2. Add 3 tbsp cooking oil to pan over medium-high heat

3. Mince garlic and add to pan. add ginger-scallion puree and mapo tofu sauce to pan and cook for 1 min.

4. Add shiitakes to pan and cook for 1 min, stirring frequently.

5. Mix cornstarch with 1.5 cups room temp water and add to pan, cook for 2 mins, stirring frequently.

6. Add tofu and toss gently, cook for 1 min. 

7. Serve over rice, top with scallions, and enjoy!

 

Chicken Lo Mein

1. Cook noodles in pot of boiling water for 3 mins. drain and set aside.

2. Add 3 tbsp cooking oil to large pan over medium-high heat.

3. Add chicken and cook for 3 mins.

4. Add ginger-scallion puree & veggies and cook 3 mins, stirring frequently.

5. Shake stir fry sauce and add to pan, stir, and cook down for 1 min.

6. Add lo mein noodles and toss to mix for 1 min.

7. Enjoy!

 

Spicy Citrus Mongolian Beef

1. Rinse rice in water, add to pot and cover with water by 1 inch and bring to boil. once boiling turn heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 mins.

2. Coat steak with corn starch and let sit for 10 mins.

3. Add 2 tbsp cooking oil to pan over medium-low heat. mince garlic cloves & slice thai chili & add to pan with ginger-scallion puree. cook for 2 mins.

4. Increase heat to medium-high, add citrus soy sauce, and cook for 2 mins, stirring frequently. remove from pan and set aside.

5. Add 2 tbsp cooking oil to pan over high heat. add steak and sear on each side for 1 min.

6. Add onion and scallion and cook for 1 min. add back cooked sauce and cook for 1 min, stirring frequently.

7. Serve over rice and enjoy!
